Rarely do the people you love have any idea just how much they mean to you. Tell them. Show them. There is nothing in this world quite like loving and being loved. Share this with someone today; show them they matter to you.

You have no idea how many people truly care about you. People say the world is a harsh, cold place. And that you have to look out for yourself. That, in the end, you only have yourself to count on. But that is such a lonely, negative way to live. And to live life as if those things are true keeps us from ever being able to become who we truly could be. Life is meaningless without each other; no one has ever accomplished anything great alone. You might not feel like you have people that care, but you would be surprised just how many people think of you on a daily basis. How many people you make smile by being there, how many lives you touch, just how much you matter to both the world and the people in your life. You MATTER. And people do care.

We have all been hurt. Often by the ones we love. Unfortunately, this gives the world a darker tint to it; we don’t trust others easily, and rarely do we trust our own selves. We are afraid to show others we care, and risk looking silly or being hurt. We think a kind action may be too small; that it might not matter. That, surely, the people we call family, friends, loved ones, neighbors; they must all know how we feel. But ask yourself, do you know how everyone in your life feels about you? Do you know how much you really MATTER to others? How important you are? How NECESSARY you are in the lives of others? Fact is, we often don’t think very highly of ourselves. We don’t think we matter NEARLY as much as we do. And you aren’t alone. All those people you love? They feel the same way, too.

Don’t assume others know how you feel about them. How much they matter. How important they are to you. No small act is too small; tell them, show them, and then tell them some more. One more hug. One more kind word. One more honest act of love. All it takes is “one more” to save a life. To show someone that even at their lowest, they matter. And at their highest, that you have believed in them all along. Never pass up an opportunity to tell someone how you really feel. It’s not just that you might not get another chance to tell them; they may need to hear it much more than you know. We’ve all had our bad days; nothing brightens them more than love. So don’t waste time wondering if it is the “right time” to tell someone you care, or if it is too silly or too small. Nothing done in love is EVER wasted; nothing done in live is ever too small.

You matter. You matter enough that someone shared this with you, or someone up high is looking out for you and made sure you stumbled across this. Do not ever doubt your worth. So many people care about you, many more than you realize. Don’t let the few that make you feel poorly ruin you for the rest; you have no idea how important you are. People care. I care. And YOU care. Now go out there and show the world you do. Care about yourself, and go for your dreams. And care about others. Spread love around. The world can never have too much of it.
