You are closer than you can imagine, my friends. People tend to get overwhelmed when things get hard, when the road gets rougher, and rocks lay strewn about in front of us. But perhaps that is because you are on to something great. Perhaps it is not to deter you, but to change you into something greater so you are ready for what lies at the end of the road. We cast blame and cry out about why. WHY? Why us, why this, why now? We forget that nothing great has happened without some test. Waveless waters do not make good sailors; it is the ones that survive the storms that grow in ways others who have only seen the sunshine cannot. It is not a rough road because you are being punished; it is rough because few have gone that way before to pave the way before you. You are not just doing it for YOU, you are paving the way for others. You might think your light is small, but it is not. You are lighting the way down the hard road, and you never know who will follow after because they saw you, shining in the distance.
As the saying goes, there is the easy road and the hard road, and the only worthwhile part of the easy one is that it is easy. Don’t cheat yourself out of the live you deserve by choosing the comfortable way. It seems less costly, but its cost is the ONLY thing that really matters; who you could be if you really tried. Don’t keep that person from the world. You have no idea how much we need you.
